The next two days were spent exploring volcanoes national park, the most amazing place in the world....that I've seen anyhow. We spent two very full days there, but could have spent at least a week. Its incredible we saw so much. Sadly the current lava flow is outside the national park so we didnt see any lava up close which was a dissappointment but so much other stuff to see it didn't matter.
We did heaps of walking and tours of all the different things in the park, saw the wildlife, saw the landscapes listened to the myths and legends of the park. I got a lung full of acid gas and coughed like crazy for about 20 minutes as my throat swelled and I produced all this crap in my throat, turns out it really is not wise to suck in the gases, but as a skeptic I had to see for myself the effects. But got some good close up photos in the process.
On the way home we went to the beach and hung out with some lazy turtles on the beach. Cool creatures, bet they taste great.
